Tonight I have spoken with Mom and think my brother is coming in from work. (For anyone reading a random blog - he's living with me while going through a divorce and is out-of-town with work a lot.) In my oh-so-exciting life, I had subteranian termite treatment at my house this morning which cost me 2 hours of personal time along with the $375 fee. Nice, huh? Then I went and beat my head against the brick wall that I call work for six hours before coming home, cooking dinner, playing with the dogs and cat, and watching Blue Collar TV followed by One Tree Hill. (Spoiler - so DAN shot Keith???) See what I get from missing one episode during the regular season!
Now, I'm on yet another computer - as if I didn't have enough time on one earlier today - and writing an update.
My life is pretty darn boring, if you ask me, so I won't blame you if you don't check-in very often.
I've left messages with two of my pageant girls - Jamie and Ericka, call me back! Okay, so I think that I remember that Jamie was going to Florida to visit her sister, but school starts soon and she should be getting back.
I don't know what this weekend holds. Matt is supposed to get his girls. We're fairly confident that his soon-to-be-ex will let us have the baby, but she's pretty well brainwashed her 8-yr-old, who my brother adopted. I doubt we'll get her for the weekend. I think I'm sending them all to Gadsden to the parental (grandparents!!!) units. Anyway, Matt took all of the baby's bottles to their house! I found two here, so that's what I expect to get ready for Friday.
The Miss West Central Alabama pageant is this Saturday starting at 5PM. I enjoy going to pageants and haven't spent much time in an audience since Miss Alabama. The last two weekends, I served as the "Dressing Room Diva" (a.k.a. Pageant Nazi) at local prelims.
I need to run - the cat has gotten under the slipcover I have over a loaned couch...I'm going, Pam!
Later...
Amy
