Time for an update

Sorry that I've neglected the blog for so long. I've been super busy at work, so getting time to update has been a real challenge. Here's a new picture of my Baby Bird. That's the name of the class he's in at daycare. This picture was emailed to me from the daycare!

Luke has his first ear infection and has been quite fussy for the last couple of days. His fussiness comes mostly in the middle of the night, so Mommy hasn't gotten much sleep. Working and being the lead on a high profile project isn't any fun when you're not getting any sleep.

On Jan. 26, Luke went for his 4-month check-up. He officially weighed 15 lbs 9 oz, was 27" long, and has a 16 1/2" head circumference. Yesterday, when he was getting his ears checked-out, he weighed 16 lbs 4 oz. So, my little man is growing! the 27" remains off the charts for length. He's in the 75th-90th percentiles for weight and the 75th percentile for head circumference.

He's starting to giggle for Mommy, when he's feeling okay. No signs of rolling-over or teeth, yet. The doctor said that because of his size he might roll-over around the same time he sits by himself. We did get the green-light to start rice cereal, but he's not liking it too well. Hopefully he won't be as picky as his mom when it comes to food!
