Well, I have several Praises to report, but want everyone to know we still don't have Matt's girls.
First, Matt got a letter on Friday from DHR saying that they were 'not indicating' any abuse. This means that all allegations have proven to be unfounded and there are no outstanding charges against him. He was able to fax a copy to the party that leads to the second Praise...
Matt accepted a position with the Ohatchee Police Department and will begin working as an officer again on January 8!!! We are all so excited about him getting back into law enformcent.
When we get the girls back, all will be well.
Jefferson Co. DHR says that they can't do anything to return the girls until the next court hearing - currently scheduled for May 27, 2007.
Matt's lawyer in Birmingham filed a motion for an immediate hearing, but we haven't heard back from Bessemer, yet. Hopefully that will come soon and our nightmare will be over.
