There was another court hearing yesterday. This time, in Chilton County, to address motions concerning custody filed by Jessie. Basically, the judge denied all of her motions and told her not to file this 'nonsense' in his court again. We're now just waiting on Jefferson County and the mess she instigated here.
On one hand, it does make us feel a little better that all of these people have been fooled by her as well. It lends more credibility and confidence to Matt! If all of these 'educated, upstanding' citizens can be fooled by her, then we can't really criticize Matt's decision making skills. At least he finally saw through her and got away!
Now please keep praying that the wisdom of God will be granted to the people handling this in Jefferson County. We are also asking for intercession from several other areas. Pray that this comes through as well.
Jessie needs more prayer than anyone. I truly don't understand how a person's heart can be this black. She personifies evil.
Keep praying for Matt, Mom, and Dad as we go through this holiday season. Facing your child and grandchild's first Christmas without any hope of celebrating with her must be almost impossible.
