Okay, to say that I'm continually tired would be a huge understatement. On top of the usual tiredness that the first trimester is supposed to bring, I stopped taking my antidepressants and sleep aid when I found out that I was pregnant.
Last night I woke-up around 2:30 and finally, in despiration, took a Benadryl at 4:15. I was finally able to drift off (and it seemed only momentary) when the alarm went off, followed by my puppy letting me know it was time to go out! My brain seems to be in overdrive thinking of the things that could go wrong - not only with my pregnancy, but with my family, work and the world in general.
Now add onto that an unwavering craving for Krispy Kreme donuts, then you have a mixed-up, sugar-high, phycho chick ready to burst. Oh, yeah - I realized after looking at a calendar today that my Brother-in-law's birthday was on Monday and I forgot to call! Sorry, Jud!
I almost had a complete come-apart in the bathroom a few minutes ago after finding-out that a friend's husband's custody battle didn't turn-out well today - and finding out that said husband didn't tell the friend about the court hearing which was scheduled for today until last night! At first, I was furious for them, then at him for her, then finally went into complete panic mode that the judge might give my niece back to her mother! I guess the hormones are raging without anything to dampen my already overactive imagination!
Oh, and go ahead and add-in the fact that I have some relatives who (live in Alabama, Texas, and Colorado) are discussing via email the NY Gov. situation and turning it into a political I'm-smarter-than-you-are all-out email-war!
Can you say PSYCHO PREGNANT CHICK ready to hatch???
They also announced a re-org at work this afternoon, a week-and-a-half after retiring (can you say 'forced-out') the two Vice Presidents for my division!
Just how many Krispy Kreme Original Glazed donuts can a pregnant woman eat?
