Doctor's appt today

I had my regular doctor's appt. today along with my Glucose Screening Test. Because I spotted a little last Thursday, they went ahead and did a full exam. (Normally, they would've just listened to the heartbeat, measured my tummy, and checked my blood pressure along with my finger stick and urine check.) I do have a bacterial infection and they gave me a prescription for that, but my cervix is still closed! She told me to rest as much as possible and come back if I started spotting again. For the pain she recommended Tylenol and a pregnancy girdle/belt.

I'm not gaining weight like they think I should. Mom did this as well, for those of you who didn't know it already. Her OB told her that her metabolism just sped up while she was pregnant and if she stayed pregnant, she would be skinny! I'm still not back to the weight I was at my first appt. in February!

My blood pressure was good. I assume that my finger stick and urine test were okay, since they didn't say otherwise. If I fail my GST, they'll let me know tomorrow and I'll have to go in for the 3-hour test. Luke's heart rate was in the 130's, which is normal for a baby boy. My 3D/4D ultrasound is Thursday afternoon. I go back for my next check-up on Tuesday, July 29. Keep us in your prayers!

I'm really going to have to watch and make sure that I don't over-do at Miss Trussville this Saturday.
