So, I'm still at work - well, physically at least. Mentally, I'm about ½ here.
I went for my latest NST (non-stress test) and AFI yesterday along with my regular doctors appt. Everything looks "okay" so far. I do have a sinus infection, but she doesn't think it will clear up until after I deliver, so she's opting not to treat it...so I have another reason to be miserable!
Originally, she'd given me next week as an induction probability, but figured-out yesterday that it conflicts with her vacation to Disney World, so IF I've made some progress at next week's visit, she'll allow whichever of her colleges I see to talk about inducing the following week. I wasn't examined for dilation, etc. yesterday so we don't know if there's been any progress from last week. Otherwise, "we'll just wait for something exciting to happen" (Her words, not mine).
Obviously this wasn't what I wanted to hear, so I was pretty let-down from the appt. yesterday. Keep me in your prayers and hope that I don't develop pneumonia, which I tend to do if I let a sinus infection go untreated. She didn't seem to think I was serious when I mentioned this (and even pointed out that she had my history from our BeHealthy.com site to verify), but she was in a hurry and had more patients to see...it was around 4:45 when I finally got to see her after being there at 2 for my tests.
Needless to say that IF (and that's a big IF at this point!) I decide to have another baby later on, I doubt that the baby factory of Henderson-Walton will have the opportunity to deliver!
