Okay, so maybe 873 is a little of an exaggeration, but I'm convinced we'll get there sometime before Charli turns 18. The judge (a new one!) in Chilton county decided that Jessie's 7-weeks with the girls earlier this summer (compliments of Jefferson County DHR) fulfills her 2-week summer visitation set-down in the divorce decree.
For those who've come by my desk and asked for news, apparently the 9:00 hearing meant 11:15 to her attorney, who showed-up to court wearing khaki shorts and a polo. I'm impressed!
We don't know exactly when the other motion will be heard. Matt's lawyer is writing his counter-motion right now and has 30-days from her first petition (sometime the end of July or early August) to file it. Then the judge will read everything and set a date for the new hearing. We'll see!
