"From the Heart"- Making Miracles Come True for Alabama's Children

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, the Miss America organization has partnered with the Children's Miracle Network as their national philanthropy. In honor of this partnership, Jamie Langley, Miss Alabama 2007, is hosting a benefit concert to raise money and awareness for this great organization. Do you think you could help Jamie by sponsoring an ad for the souvenir program book that will be presented to each person that buys a ticket for the event?

The concert is set for December 2 from 2-4 p.m. CST at Homewood High School in Homewood, Alabama. The tickets will sell for $20.00 per person. We have a great variety of talent from church choirs, dance studios, former Miss Alabama's, JSU's Encore Show Choir, and other show choirs, etc. This is really going to be a great event and Jamie's goal is to raise $20,000 for CMN. Ken Brewer, a great Miss Alabama Director and volunteer, has graciously volunteered his graphic design talents in creating the program book for the event. The quality of the program book will be very similar to the slick pages of the Miss Alabama program book. The book will have a color cover front and back and will consist of 24 pages. This program will be VERY nice.

All money raised will go through Miss Alabama to the Children's Miracle Network. Sponsor levels are as follows:

• Bronze- $100.00-$199- 1/8 page ad
• Diamond- $200-$299- ¼ page ad
• Silver- $300-$399- ½ page ad
• Gold -$400-$499- ¾ page ad
• Platinum- $500 and greater- 1 full page ad

In the program book, we will provide an ad for the sponsorship and mention the sponsors' names and their level of sponsorship in the script to be read during the show.

Please make checks payable to Miss Alabama Pageant Inc. and in the memo line of the check note CMN sponsorship donation. Please mail the check to: Bart Sorrell; PO Box 735; Lanett, AL 36863.

Bart will make sure all of the funds are sent to Sherri Harbison, Treasurer of Miss Alabama, to be receipted and credited to Children's Miracle Network.

Bart will need the copy for your ad. This can be emailed to him at Bart.Sorrell@knology.com or it can be mailed to him with your check.

If you prefer to be invoiced, please email him your contact information (name, phone number and mailing address) so he may invoice you for the ad.

I truly thank you for whatever you can do to help. If you can think of another person that could help us seek out sponsorship, please get them on board or let me know who they are and I will contact them. The more money we raise, the more we help the children.
