General thoughts

Just wanted everyone to know that my brother has to go and give a deposition on Nov. 19 in his ex-wife's latest attempt to get custody of Charli.

I've had an interesting month, beginning with the flu and a cruise. I've since had a birthday, celebrated JSU's homecoming (Miss Alabama, Jamie Langley, and Julia at JSU's Homecoming), and judged the Miss Tennessee Valley pageant. Now my Mustang is having fuel gague issues and the check engine light is on. Today is Halloween and also Alyssa's 10th birthday. We've not spoken to her since Oct. 26, 2006. I miss her.

I went to make hot chocolate a couple of weeks ago and realized that I hadn't made any since I made it for her last year. Its been a year since this nightmare with DHR started and two since Matt and Jessie separated. I just know that there's a special place in eternity for Jessie and I don't believe its on 'our' side.

Hopefully the judge will see through her as easily as the divorce judge did!
